Of course, all this happened mere weeks before Brian and a couple other board members caused the Olympic National Governing Body to implode, and before his removal from the organization.
So for some odd reason, while a few very influential and very talented 1990s and 2000s editorial staff were not invited, Brian Ridgeway, a far less talented and influential individual (and also a sexual harasser), was on stage, speaking and accepting the award on behalf of the publication.
