I Absolutely Believe the Claire Stebbings Sexual Assault Allegations Against Robert Neal

When Claire Stebbings went public with her allegations that Robert Neal allegedly sexually assaulted her in May 2026, I reached out and she was very interested in sharing her story, in full, with the public.

We spoke and recorded for more than three hours in June 2026, and I released the following clip to announce that her interview would be dropping soon:

After this excerpt went live, pressure and harassment and trolling on social media from the public began mounting. Claire decided the best course of action for her safety and mental health was to avoid publishing our interview, which I absolutely understand.

The sad reality is this is exactly why so many victims of sexual assault, rape and abuse don't report it. They don't go to the police; they don't share it publicly—many of them just keep it to themselves and try to carry on with their lives—coping with and bottling up—the trauma they endured.

After speaking with privately Claire for weeks leading up to our interview, and then in a three-hour recording session and seeing the evidence she presented, including the dates she was in an ambulance and spoke to the police, I can tell you that I completely believe her and I can also tell you that many people within the skateboarding industry, who've had experiences with Robert Neal, believe her too.

I’ve recently seen claims of another sexual assault allegation against Neal circulating online, this one allegedly having happened in Australia, but have yet to hear back from the individual who shared the information.

Please be kinder and more receptive and understanding to victims who are trying to speak out and rid the world of people like Robert Neal, Dane Burman, Chris Cole, etc.
