The Nine Muses is proud to announce its first hat offering, the Theta strapback cap.
In classical Athens, "Theta" was used as an abbreviation for the Greek "θάνατος" (Thanatos, "death") and as it vaguely resembles a human skull, theta was used as a warning symbol of death, in the same way that skull and crossbones are used in modern times. Theta is also the Greek number "9".
The Theta hat was designed to be understated yet stylish, with a classic script embroidered font and a low profile unstructured 6 panel construction made from soft 100% brushed cotton twill fabric.
It features a "Theta" symbol rear embroidery and an adjustable fabric strap with a brass metal clasp for a more precise fit than the standard snapback or fitted cap.
