This was my favorite event of the X Games this year... well, actually, of any year...

Aaron...

I've been skating 20 years and I promise you I probably couldn't land this ollie. But Oscar Loreto can.

Buddy Elias broke a rib during the contest. Pretty gnar. I'm fully backing him.

Sweeper! Y'all know Comer! One time I was in a hotel room having some beers with him... we had just met... and I couldn't find a bottle opener for my beer and he just grabed it from me and opened it with his fake leg. It was epic.

I was complaining about some fucked up deal that's going on with my Achilles the other day... it hurts bad. I've been having trouble pushing. Then I saw Evan Strong skating... he has 50% less Achilles tendons than me and he's not complaining. That makes me a whiny little bitch.

Aaron... pre-drop in. And by drop in, I mean the deep end of the bowl... another thing I haven't done, and would be too scared to do, 20 years into my life of skateboarding. Aaron is in a wheelchair and does it every time. That makes me a complete and total pussy.

It's nice to roll with friends...

I'm backing this crew... they are the new "cool kids" in my book.

Lemme preface this video real quick... I've seen Aaron try the backflip before. I don't give a shit if I ever see him land it or not... the dude is gnarly. I'm bewildered by everything the kid does. I've included his slams out of the utmost respect. It's just something you have to see to appreciate the rawness and exhilaration of. Keep on rolling guys. I was fanning out on all of you last weekend at X Games.
