Back your craze!
I don't exactly know why, but "crazes" have always amused me. A lot of people ask me why I make fun of, or "hate" on, certain things (for example, the Morrissey, iPhone, Harley and fixed gear crazes in the last few years).
Contrary to popular belief, I don't really hate much these days, except for Sublime and Rachael Ray and a few "PR & Marketing" people's existence in the skateboarding industry.
I own Morrissey CDs even though he totally sucks and many dear friends of mine and people I admire have Harleys and fixed gears.
And since when is discussing something or having a laugh about something, "hating" anyway? Hell, I've been laughed at my whole life. I thought "hating" was like, joining the KKK or murdering people or something.
So there you have it. I quite enjoy observing, pondering and making fun of the latest crazes. But don't be bummed. Be proud. Back your craze, even if it's having a dumb blog, or wearing furry Ugg boots or Affliction shirts.
