Budding industry romance?

Or does Erica prefer beer?

So Mikey Taylor, Bobby Worrest and lots of totally important industry people came down to Sole Technology earlier in the week for "Media Day."

What's Mikey shooting?

Adam Sullivan didn't know I put a tomato and a potato chip on his shoulder. They stayed there for like, 15 minutes.

Then, yesterday, I skated a ditch with a bunch of Dutch dudes that like me because, allegedly my last name is Dutch, and got my wallrides back after not trying them for about eight years, but not before David Loy attempted some harsh mega stunt 15-foot Bam-style drop in, scorpioned down the gnarly bank for like 10 feet and ripped his hand open. It was the funniest goddamn thing I've seen in a while. His dad was there filming and I'm dying to see it again. Perhaps even in slow motion.

Also, Ivo told me that the fact that he tagged my photo with the word "gay" on his Flickr brings tons of views to it. Rad. Thanks.

On the narcissism front, Missbehave, and the SLAP boards seemed to like me last week. Well, except for the dude who called me a "shit trickle." But even he complimented my O'Connor roast. Then PacSun (yes, I know they suck) asked to do some weird feature on me because they were having "etnies month." So I did. They seem to think I'm a photographer more so than a writer. Oh well. Publicity, right?

Somewhere in between the ditch and media day, I saw Kid Koala live, and he played this. I was inspired.
