This is what happens when you get a new flash and don't know how to use it.

Screech puking into the bowl (he does this a lot during contests.)

You know, sometimes, in the heat of the moment, we get all emotional and psyched and metrosexual and whatnot. Here, Terell Robinson and Regular Footed team captain/Slap editor, Mark Whiteley, share a moment at the GvR awards yesterday. Personally, I favor proper man hugs over "bro hugs" too.

I snuck away from doing my job on Friday, the first day of GvR, to skate with some friends. It turned out to be one of the funnest seshes I've had in a while. I did a lot of no complys on parking blocks like when I was 13 and Rob Meronek and Ryan Clements totally blogged up our afternoon.

If interplanetary beings, or even regular ol' human beings who don't know about skateboarding for that matter, were to watch a contest based solely on manuals, they more than likely wouldn't be too impressed. A switch stance frontside flip up a Euro gap, to manual, to one footed ollie out down another Euro gap (Ã la Creager), although difficult as hell, isn't exactly fathomable for the average citizen. In fact, it probably almost looks like a mistake or something. And it certainly doesn't embody the "Ooooohhh, Aaahhhhh, Wow" factor of say, a 20-stair or a halfpipe or that God forsaken Mega Ramp thing.

Sometimes you're just sitting around the skatepark with the camera rolling, not really filming anything or paying attention, and a kid blazes through the screen on his Rollerblades and eats shit. This was pretty much the highlight of my trip to NJ last week. The more you watch the funnier it gets, I swear.
