God damn this was a gnarly one! Creature's obstacle at Downtown Showdown today involved a tunnel you had to skate through to get to a bank ramp to kickturn on to get speed on to hit a hip. Got it? Ya, so Omar Hassan was ripping as usual, then didn't duck low enough in the tunnel one time and ripped his scalp off. I've never seen blood come out of an injured human so quickly. It was Chris Gregson who came up with the brilliant idea for me to have a totally rad skate team for my blog. Thanks, Chris! I'm working on a real serious and business-like press release to dispatch to the endemic media soon. Chris also learned proper impossibles not too long ago and was delighted to show me.
David Loy was the second member of the squad. Well, because, he asked. He also rips contests and makes fun of me a lot. I got mucho sequences of him at GvR last weekend. I'm also going to see these kiddos rip in the new Birdhouse video, The Beginning, that premieres tonight!
