When I was wee: part II

I was born and raised a few blocks away from the now-famous Holsten's ice cream parlor in Bloomfield, NJ. Why is it famous, you ask? Well, the final scene of the Sopranos** was shot there. As a tyke, I used to walk to Holsten's after grade school in my little green uniform and tie with my friends and buy lots of candy.
I moved away from there to another part of NJ in 1989, but always swung back around to Holsten's once or twice a year after I got my license. I'm nostalgic and sappy like that.
Rolled by again a few weeks ago and the place is still the same as always. Fame didn't get to their heads. No hype, nothing. I was stoked to get a cup of tea in a 20-year-old stained coffee mug and eat krinkle-cut fries. What's the point? I dunno. Its my fuckin' blog and I felt like writing about it.
**Editor's note: This is the only scene of the Sopranos I've ever seen in my life, and I intend on keeping it that way. It was shot in my hometown and has the best song ever. Might as well end my Sopranos experience on a high note.
