Skinema!
Chris Nieratko and I were both born and bred in NJ and we are damn fucking proud of it. We are just about the same age. We both went to Catholic school. We are both writers (although he runs laps around me in my opinion.) We both learned most of what we know about interviewing from listening to Howard Stern our entire lives. We both love skateboarding.
I like Chris. He inspires me. I learned some of what I know about writing from reading his stuff. I'm stoked he has a book out and that it's porn-related. I like boobs. I just interviewed Chris candidly over a few slices of NJ pizza and beer for another book that's coming soon. It was an amazing conversation and will blow minds, but more on that later.
When Chris sent me an advance copy of Skinema, this cute little letter came with it. Unfortunately, you might not get said letter with the book, but you should buy it anyway. Just to prove wrong all the marketing slimeballs and "experts" who claim that "kids don't read."
Chris is also on a Skinema book tour across the USA right now. Tragically, I'll be in NJ while he's in California. And when he gets back to NJ, I'll be back in California. Like two ships passing in the night... these are the days of our lives.
