I've heard rumors of this recently from people who pass by it on their early morning commutes... the gold fire hydrant in Laguna Beach getting polished every single morning. But its the type of ridiculous shit I had to see with my own eyes to believe. Sure enough, walking back from the beach at 6:49 am this morning, I struck blog gold when I stumbled upon the cleansing of the gold hydrant! I'm pretty damn sure you'll never find another town that polishes their golden fire hydrants daily. No, like really. Anyone up for the challenge?
