It was a day of randoms as Ronnie called to inform me he stole our Skateboard Mag Milestone article for his new site. I go to lunch with Metzger and this exotic bird is sitting at the chair next to me. Birds are the new dogs I hear. Oh, and I got soooo much Element video gossip that you won't hear from me, but maybe on some of those angst-ridden message boards y'all chill at.

"Hey bro, wassup!"

Then Clyde texts me to tell me he's at Mexican midget wrestling and wants to arrange a skate industry field trip next time he goes.

Finally, I headed to the Deftones show in LA in attempts to beef up the exclusive etnies Deftones blog and watched a young child thrash about on the stage, for a good portion of the show, which almost made me fear this was going to reoccur, somehow. Luckily it didn't, and I have to admit, Little Miss Sunshine was out on stage, dancing and playing to the crowd during Digital Bath (i.e. best Deftones song ever) and it warmed my heart. That being said, I'm not sure how safe it is for the kid's eardrums out there in front of the stacks, but, whatever... not my kid. Then it was time to lurk at a really whack after party where no one really did anything and the buffet was slightly lackluster. Got one Chino photo and broke out to Swingers 'til 4 am and saw this glam boy from AFI walking about. His makeup was done really well, even for 3 am and he looked very pretty.

Does anyone care? I dunno.
