Here's my first-ever background props in a skateboard mag. Thrasher to be precise. From a demo at the late Premiere skateshop in Wayne, NJ. I'm not even sure what this demo was, but it was mid-nineties during that phase when a ton of mediocre skaters from NYC got a lot of coverage and sponsors...some of them even turned pro. (Calm down, there were some good skaters too.) All of the skate industry from the West Coast wanted a piece of the NYC pie. It was pretty amazing actually. Looking back...those were fun times.

I might as well also mention that I appear in the background of Mike Vallely's part in New Deal's 1281. The footage was from a demo of he and Ed Templeton at Psycho Skates in Morristown NJ. Grab a copy of Andy Howell's book to get 1281 and Useless Wooden Toys on DVD. A gem for your video collection for sure.
