Just did a quickie Arto interview for an update to his etnies.com. team page. Enjoi.

So how does it feel to finally be back in the game after being plagued with injuries and whatnot?
It is a whole new ampage level of bologna vibes! Epic!

You've had coverage all over the place in the last few months. Are you on a serious mission or what?
Well, I just happened to be on few good trips with cool people and epic photo dogs.

Tell us about your new shoe, the Arto 2. Where the ideas came from, what you like most about it, why it's worth putting on your feet and whatnot?
The idea of the shoe is to feel your vibe on the board better. Vulcanized grip makes it happen. A little STI foam and gel in the heel for the occasional anti-bruise vibe. Why am I even writing this? You either like or you don't.

Are you working on a third shoe soon? What will it be like?
That one will be more along the lines of the first shoe. A little stronger, yet grippy and epic.

How about the Flip video? Is that still in the works or are you done? What can we expect and when?
It probably will come out when it is done. Or not. Last one took like seven years. Don't believe what they say.
What's with the new motorbike obsession?
Once you get the taste for it you can never go back.

What other trouble you been getting into lately?
Dealing with CHP. What a nightmare.

Since we last spoke, we got Ali and Dill on the team! Give us some words on our new team riders.
Jesus! Both those guys are on? God damn what a mess that is.

Have you made any new years resolutions for 2007? What can we expect from you this year?
Ride more bikes. Indians? Cafe Honda Rondas? Bonnevilles?

Give us five good bands we should be listening to right now.
Hanoi rocks, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Bowie, Gogoll Bordello.

Tell us about mustard and give us some new slang or vocabulary you have been running lately.
The Gyro copter bolony mustard mindset. Ask Jimmy Boyce Jr. Jr. My head is starting to hurt. Feel's like I am closing into a bubble world of electronic doom. Brainwave disorder. System down. Kick start your bike. Free yourself from the bubble and get show on the road!

What was the last bit of harsh drama you had in your life?
Flipping the side car with a hobo in it.

What's been the best thing to happen in the last few months?
Daily motorcycle diarrhea!
