Tim O'Connor On Manuals!

Here's another of the never-before-seen manual article interviews from a few years ago with Tim O'Connor. Coming soon are Henry Sanchez, Karl Watson and Biebel!
What is your favorite place to do manuals?
I'd have to say that Pier 7 in SF is one of the most perfect places.
Who/what made you first want to try manual tricks?
Probably Brian Lotti in Hokus Pokus.
What was the first 'hard' manual trick you learned?
Manual to kickflip out. I learned them when I had no pubes.
What was the one you are most proud of?
I did a backside flip fakie manual to halfcab flip out at Newburgh skatepark back in the day. I was psyched on that one but, it wasn't documented.
What took you longest to learn?
Switch manuals to switch flips out.
What haven't you landed yet but are working on, or gave up on?
Ah ha...secrets that I cannot reveal. Watch my next video part.
Who is the king of the manual?
Daewon, Marc Johnson, Ronnie Creager, Stevie Williams and Biebel. All them ocks have manual talent.
What is the most memorable manual trick ever done?
Some footy I've seen of AVE that hasn't come out yet so, I can't reveal it. Other stuff that Stevie Williams has done too.
What's so appealing about manual tricks as opposed to other types of skating?
Not everyone can do manuals the right way. Everyone can do handrails. Manuals done perfectly are the ultimate skill.

dude the ultimate manual pad - handicaps
you could go straight for the quick up down, OR around the corner past the glass for the long haul.. then you got the slappy option at the end of the curb. or lipslide.
Ron Jackson was there.
