Only in NJ will you be at a 24-hour pizza place at three in the morning, in October when it is 45 degrees out, and this kid in a xxxxxxl jersey and sweats, while his girl is standing next to him in a Triple Fat Goose imitation jacket with her arms out of the sleeves overlooking a table of guidos. This is why I go home from Cali to NJ every 2-3 months...seriously.

Was stoked that something was goin' on in NYC while I was on the East Coast last week. Weather was rad and this little Harold Hunter "H" Jam gathering was rad. -Donny Barley at the "H" Jam whilst non-razor blade gripping a board by scraping it all over the ground until the grip wore off around all the edges, at which point he borrowed a red plastic-coated Unit tool from someone and filed the shit out of the edges until it was smoothed out. To be honest, I was skeptical, but the board was pretty much flawlessly gripped by the time he was done a half hour later. This was truly a McGyver-esque moment in skateboarding if I've ever seen one.
