Hype up Shaun White and his 1080 for days, weeks even...then, after 14 tries (the entire 30 minutes of the Vert Best Trick contest), as he gets closer to landing it...make him stand on the platform for 15 minutes with four douchebags blocking off the ramp by standing on the flatbottom while ESPN goes to commercial. The general concensus: "If he's not gonna land it on live TV for ESPN's cameras, then he's not gonna land it on this ramp at all."
Way to go, jerk offs. We know you don't really give a shit about skateboarding, but you could you maybe at least pretend to care?
The only caption that comes to mind here is "Crunk," one of the dumbest words on the planet.
Shaun was given one more attempt as the comerical break ended. One can only guess how frustrated he was and how much his legs locked up whilst waiting for the cameras to go back on. He missed it, the cameras went off, he snuck in another go and ate shit and busted his finger up. Now, I'm no Shaun White advocate, but hell, a 1080? Can't say the dude didn't try. More drama to tell you about later, too. Something to the tune of Shaun's "people" trying to get me to "blog" about him leading into the X Games and me essentially telling them to "fuck off."
Maxim threw a party. It was full of fuckin' meatheads. Muska DJ'd. Ellington talked to him in between sets.
In other news, the Street contest was pretty sick. Dudes threw down. I have an assload of footage to edit. Total hammers and bangers and ender enders from all your favorite skateboard superstars, including: Koston, Reynolds, Sheckler, Cole, Rodriguez, Herman, Romero and more! Wow man, so fuckin' extreme! Video coming soon! I wonder if Slim Jim and Taco Bell will advertise on this site?

Bryce seems to be kicking my ass with the X Games updates. I chalk it up to the cool guy green credentials he has. I just have brown ones. Brown is the color of shit, isn't it? I like Bryce.
