McDonalds Is Healthier Than Starbucks?
Last Thursday evening I was at San Diego airport en route to my hometown in NJ for the weekend. Behind me in the security line was a mother and her son who couldn't have been any older than 8 or 9 years old. As we got our bags off the belt and put our shoes back on, the young boy saw the Starbucks that was dead ahead of us in the food court and excitedly shouted:
"Mom can we get Starbucks?"
The mother replied:
"No, that's disgusting, I don't want you going there!"
The mother then took him to the McDonalds across from the Starbucks where she ordered a Chicken McNuggets value meal with a large fries and soda for his meal.
Am I the only one who thinks that logic is tweaked?
